Sun 26/10 Alex Smith Cup Sections v Douglas Ath

Cutty win 3-6 MOM Bobby Scott

Scorers Stan Mcintyre 2, Lee Hunt, Bobby Scott,Barry Heggie, Captain Marvellous Lee Esposito. This was a big game for both clubs, as the winner of this game would probably be top of the section giving the easier tie in next round. Absolutely pish weather didn't help the Cutty Babes but they fought through wind and rain to come out victorious again and to dappen the spirits of the so called reigning league champions. Bobby 'the whippit' Scott played a blinder, causing havoc to Douglas defence. The Sark were trying to keep the ball on the deck and playing their usual pass and move flowing football, which they did. Douglas went 1-0 through a well taken goal from the boy that looks like he's got something wrogn with him. This made the Cutty step it up a gear and from a resulting corner Lee esposito smashed a shot in the roof of the net, but the douglas defence were claming it hit off his bicep. Cutty were toatlly dominating and Stan gave us the lead through a well worked goal. Then "fucknose" where Bobby scott came from but after a slack pass back from fatty at the back, there keeper must have thought he had it but incame bobby scott from no where and sloted it into the empty net! Haltime 3-1. After the break Cutty began to knock the ball about brilliantly and inside 15 mins stan made it 4-1 with good work down the right from Bobby Scott he cut it back and Stan scored with an easy goal! Then came back the Douglas but with a bit of luck!.. Robbie Mcalpine who had a fine match past the ball back to Tam, but the ball took a bad bobble and that wee rat Dolan had an easy tap in. Same man again scored for the Douglas with a fine long range effort. On Came the substituations Lee " Greeting puss" Hunt and Barry Heggie to freshen things up. It took Lee 10 minutes to get his name on the score sheet from a fine ball from Steven Rice, he placed a well placed low shot past the oncoming Keeper. Cutty had chances to embarres the league and tayside cup champions but in the dying minutes, debutee Barry Heggie scored to make it 6-3..... Looked over and saw Tarzan taking a scajjy at Jocky and heard him saying, ahhh wouldav been different if we had oor boys back... excuses excuses... we have 5 boys oot m8!. Kev G ;)



 

Sun 02/11 Centre Cars Trophy V Dundee Social

Dundee Social 2 v 1 Cutty Sark. Mom . Leigh Esposito.

Going into this match on the back of some great victories, Cutty's confidence was high and every1 was talking about us going to do this  and do that but this was out worst performance of the season. The social had the Cutty on the back foot the first 15 minutes and had a couple of decent chances to take the lead but some fine defending from james thomson kept it 0-0. Cutty started coming into the game and the main threat was from Bobby Scott who was still playing with an injury. Stan had a couple of half chances to give cutty the lead but keeper made couple of good stops. Cutty made the break- through with about 10 mins to half time, Espo played a good ball over the top of the social rear guard and with the on coming oompaloompa coming out towards him, Steven Rice played a well places chip over his head and made it 1-0 the cutty. Half time Social 0 v 1 Cutty. Cutty started the 2nd half making 2 subbies. On came Bobby " Turn up when ya want" Cummings and Barry heggie. Heggie started making things happen for the cutty, and we shouldav really been 2 or 3 up in the first 15 mins of the 2nd half. With the social playing long ball tactics all the time, it finally payed off when Johnna n Billy Thomson went for the same ball in the air and there man fired a great strike into the bottom corner giving Tam no chance. This brought the Social into life and Cutty had to defend deep after that. No chances were created though. Cutty had a fine chance to take the lead, Ricey cut the ballback across the goal but Stan couldnt get his tae nails to it and it went out for a goal kick! Then Eddie woods was making a cunt of hisself as usual. Billy Thomson made a high tackle but clearly winnign the ball, but somehow Spazzy Woods pointed for a Penalty Kick, saying  " iknow he won the ball but ell gee use a penalty the next time" this is the kind o things this cunt comes away with! Bring back Willie Reilly!! Social made it 2-1 from the spot. The the Cutty onslaught came and we shouldav had a bricker of a penalty when stan was away 2 fire into an empty net but was crunched from 2 social defenders. Awww 1 defeats no bad.. but to these cunts it means something to us.Centre cars cup might look hgood in the social's cabinet, but the league n tayside will look good in ours!! Away the Sark!

Sorry i never went to this match so no match report, was on the nest!! What i heard MOM was Barry Heggie. Goals came from Stan 3, Heggie 2, Lee 1 , Ricey 1 and Spammers m8 that played junior in Edinburgh.. ehhh smellll shhhiitteeeee!!! If my 2nd in command aka tea leaf wants to change this hes more than welcome. Next week see' s the cutty's march to the title take on George's brothers.. the Cresent Star ;)



 

Sun 16/11 League v Crescent Star
Cutty sark 1 v 1 Cresent Star.

Going into this match on the back of an moral boosting 8-0 against the Douglas lads, confidence was high in the cutty camp. There was some tinkering with the sqaud as Errol Johnstone and Bobby Scott dropped to the bench. Incame Jimmy Deasley and Captain Marvel Lee ' Roids ' Esposito. Cutty began the match. Inside the first 5 minutes cutty started brightly and were playing some good one touch football. Barry heggie was causing there left back all kinds of problems, and with 10 mins on the clock cutty took the lead with a fine goal. Heggie took on 2 men before cutting to the bye line and playing the ball across the face of the goal where stan tapped it into the net. 1-0 the cutty. With 25 mins gone the match got a bit scrappy in midfield and there was no real chances. Lee " Greeting Puss" Hunt had a great opertunity to make it 2-0, he deflected a shot from espo on target but big Valderama came from no where and hit the ball off the line with a popadom. Hardly any chances were made in the first half as cutty then struggled to play the football they were playing the first 15. The wee boy Fleming's peh was cause our rearguard a few problems with his pace and P diddy in midfield was putting the boot into nicky's tights! Half time 1-0 the sark....... The star take the kick off . It was our opponents that looked lively in the 2nd half and the wee guy again was beating the offside trap to have a couple of one on ones with Tam but Tam made 2 good stops with his legs!  Subtitute Bobby Scott played over a great cross for stan, the ball came back off his sqaure hade and rattled the crossbar! Against the run o play, P diddy played a nice ball over the top a johna's head to leave flemings peh to scoop the ball over the oncoming cutty keeper and make the score 1-1 . This created wild celebrations amongst the cresent star team. The star actaully created 2 or 3 great chances after that and cutty were lucky to hang on. Heggie brought a great save from there keeper with about 5 mins to go but the cutty didnt play well enough on the day, but credit to crescent star who were playing a 7-2-1  formation. Final score.

After match talk...... 2 points dropped in a crucial league match for the cutty. Seeing this result no doubt Tarzan will be having a wank over it haha. but big game next sunday against Maverix who will be no mugs. Lets see the really cutty this sunday and show that was a one off match...Away the sark!

Sunday 18.01.09 Scottish cup V Maverix. 3rd Round

Cutty sark 8 v 1 Maverix ... Mom. Grant Mcintyre

Coming into this match after 5 weeks of not playing a match, the manager and his shite pipe lickers didnt know what cutty side would turn up for the big match. Going into the changing room the players looked all different shapes and sizes, after all the bevvying and eating over the christmas period! George Giblin looked like a fake tan version of an oompa loompa. Maverix took the long journey from Hamilton in there bangers instead o forking oot on a bus. ( Gajjie B*****8s) Onto the match...... Cutty set up with a 4-4-2 formation.  James Thompson made a comeback after a couple games missing and he played alongside Johnna. Incame Kevin Abernethy to slot in the right back position and Billy ' Ritilin' Thompson made up the back four at left back. Lee ' Riods' Esposito and Bobby ' The Whippet' Scott both took to the flanks. Nicky ' put holes in the doghnuts' Duechars and Errol ' Jinky' Johnstone were in the centre midfield. New signing Allan ' hairdo' or ' Boats' Marra made his cutty debut alongside the prolific Grant ' Stan' Mcintyre.... Referre was sum auld cunt fae  sheep land! KICK OFF! Cutty took centre and started very positively. Around ten mins on the clock cuttycreated the 1st chance. Errol played a lovely weighted pass out wide to Bobby Scott and after beating 2 of the Maverix defenders played a low ball across the face of goal, bur amazingly from 3 yards out ' Stan' scooped the ball over the bar with his shit flickers!! Stan was to make ammends for that sitter after 18 mins on the clock.. New signing 'Boats' skinned the maverix left back and cut the ball back  across goal, and there stan was to poke the ball home to make it 1-0. Only about 5 mins later cutty made it 2-0. Cutty won a corner wich was crossed by Nicky and there was Johnna at the back post to header past the keeper. Maverix had a couple of half chances but cutty's rearguard were in command. 32 mins on the clock cutty made it 3-0. Great work again by boats and bobby scott led to the ball being driven along the line and stan slid in to get his 2nd of the match. Maverix won a corner and from this made the match 3-1. Poor defending from the set piece allowed the big number 8 a free header and head low past tam darling in the cutty goal. This gave Maverix a wee lift and they started putting the boot in. Cutty took the stuffing right out them with 7 mins  to go with a well worked goal and nicky who was having a fine match got his reward with the 4th to make it 4-1. The machine kept rolling and Stan got his hatrick just before half time to make it 5-1. 2ND HALF........ Maverix took centre and you could see they couldnt be arsed after seeing the cutty babes destroying them and there confidence with some fantasy football! The 2nd half was a bit scrappy and both teams were just kicking lumps out each other. Stan who had a great match came off the park to be replaced by lee' Greeting puss' Hunt.  Maverix were on the attack but only to be broken up by a great tackle from nicky duechars who then carried the ball into the maverix half, with two players wide of him to pass to, he ignored the shouts and skinned the last two defenders to go 1 on 1 with the goalie. Only the keeper to beat he did and made it 6-1. With the clock ticking down with about 20 mins to go on came steven rice. Cutty had a numerous amount of chances but didnt take them. Give tam  a shout for the fantastic triple save he pulled off in the 2nd half, thats all he had to do. 10 mins to go Lee Hunt made it 7-1 to the Sark. FULL TIME...

 

On this performance be aware of what the cutty babes have still got to offer. played some entertaining stuff but hardly coming out of 2nd gear. With a couple of new signings the cutty look like they are ready to take on whats ahead of them in this scottish cup campaign.


Sunday 25.01.09. Scottish Cup V The Vollies. 4th Round

Vollies 1 v 4 Cutty. Mom Lee Hunt

So we were back up bridey land for this 4th round match against a team we have already played this season, the vollies. I was on button moon the last time we played them so didnt know what this team were like, but playing in there 1st season together heard they were a stuffy outfit. Going into this game after a fantastic team perfromance against the Maverix, cutty were feeling confident. Cutty lined up in there usual 4-4-2 formation with Tam Darling in goal. Robbie Mcalpine right back, Kevin Abernethy Left back. Johna and Jamesy Thomson in the centre of defence. Midfield consested of Bobby Scott on the right, Lee Esposito on the left hand side, with Errol Johnstone and Nicky Duechars in the Centre midfield area! Upfront ... the prolific Grant Mcintyre alonside Wee hunty!  Making our way to the park we realised we were back on the old haunting ground we lost on last season.. The la hill !!!...Parks a F*****g nightmare. Referee was from Sheep S****rs land again. Cutty took kick off!!!!!. In the opening first 5 minutes it looked like Vollies came out ta put sumcunt in hospital instead of playing football, but cutty were playing some lovely flowing football with stan n hunty running there back 4 ragged!!! Cutty had there first chance to take the lead in 9 minutes when a long ball over the top of there defence was met by a lovely run by stan who made his way into the box twisting n turning with only the keeper to beat, the keeper stood up well and  saved with his legs. Cutty looked the part in the 1st quarter and took the lead after 15 mins. Great exchange of play from Espo n Stan on the left paved the way for wee hunty to slot home from close range and make it 1-0 to the cutty babes. Straight from the cutty Vollies just about made it 1-0 after a wee mix up at the back allowed the wee copper nopper ta have a dig at goal but it just went wide of the mark. This made the cutty stand up and take into account the vollies wouldnt be no push overs, but the vollies defence were being tore to shreds with the pace and desire of the cutty frontmen! Cutty had a good number of chances 2 double the lead with stan the culpript of fluffing a few shots wide until with half n hour on martins stopwatch he made it 2-0 to the blue brazil! he skinned 2 defenders and slotted the ball sending the keeper diving the wrong way! Cutty were totally dominant in the latter stages of the 1st half n should have been 5 or 6 up but the fermerz wir still hanging in there min!!!! HALF TIME!!!........ ( Fucking homemade soup from Eddie at half time was delicious until it gave me the doze ah the shits later on back in the vollies) All Spammer done was moan at half time about his £3 flask getting broke, thank fuck the ref blew for the 2nd half... KICK OFF. A change at half time saw Richy Blake making his 1st start for the cutty in place of Errol Johnstone who had a quiet match. Robbie moved in to the centre of midfield n richy filled the right back position! Bobby Scott who was having a quiet game to his usual standards began more involved in the opening stages of the 2nd half. Cutty won a few corners but to no avail didnt take up any opportunities. !st 15 mins cutty took there feet of the pedal and allowed the vollies to try and get there way back into the match. They had a couple of chances 2 get a goal back but the cuttys rearguard stood firm. Against the run of play the cutty driffed forward like a herd of Bulls and Bobby scott skinned 2 fermerz  on the right and hit the ball hard n low across goal where wee hunty toe poked it into the empty night. Cutty were in cruise control by this stage and a fewof the players were reminding of me back in my playing career. Bobby Scott was played clean through on the right and and skinned the advancing nutter of a keeper, only to be punted back up the brae from him, this leading to the keeper being giving a straight red card. Vollies got a goal back with the wee copper nopper being clearly in an offside position. This brought them into life but to no avail yet again! Nicky Duechars Made it 4-1 with 5 mins to go with a goal from about 40 yards.. no keeper but still hadf a lot to do........ FULL TIME ..

Cutty were always in control of this match but looked at times they might make it harder for themselves. But this set up a loclal derby with the Douglas pathetic next sunday in the last 32 and we were confident of beating tarzan's babes! George and Rabbie were wetting there y fronts after seeing an accomplished cutty performance.

Sunday 1.1.09. Scottish cup V Douglas Athletic. 5th rnd

Douglas Athletic 1 v 2 Cutty Sark. M.O.M Paul Johnstone

This was the Cutty babes 3rd Scottish cup game in a row. Coming into this match the cutty were only playing in 2nd gear most matches but were full of promise and commitment. With the games called off from the Dundee City Council on friday, this game was moved down to the land of the smokies. Having already played the Douglas pathetic earlier on in the season and winning quite comfortably 6-3, cutty were extremely confident going into this fixture. Making our way to the park we then realised we would be playing on the pitch right next to the water and the wind would be howling, making the game a bit tougher. There was an awful smell of arbroath smokies around the park reminding me of what i had a couple weeks ago when i pulled down a burds thong ( Canna say wa coz it was a member o the commitee's burd). Cutty lined up as.... Tam Darling beetween the sticks, After impressing when he came on as a sub last week Richy Blake started right back, Billy 'Ritilin' Thompson left back, Paul ' the monk' Johnstone and Jamsie Thompson were the heart of the defence. Bobby Scott started wide right and incame Steven Rice on the left inplace of Errol Johnstone. The tango twins.  Lee 'Riods' Esposito and Nicky ' Put holes in the doughnuts' Duechars took over the centre of the park. Upfront Grant ' Stan Mcintyre and Lee ' Shaggy' Hunt. On the Bench were Errol Johnstone, Kevin Abernethy and Back to the squad came Jimmy  Deasley after a 6 week absence. The Referee was from Dundee... watch this space........... total mongle! KICK OFF. Both teams started quite well and from early on it was easy to knotice that the wind was going to play a big part in this match. Doulgas were using the long ball tactics over the top of the cutty back four and with two quick strikers it couldav worked but James and Johnna were mopping up everything. Douglas won a couple of corners in the 1st ten mins but came to nothing. Cutty were knocking the ball around nicely in the middle of the park and keeping the ball on the carpet. Tackles were flying in from all angles and the ref was doing nothing about it. With around 15 minutes on the clock cutty carved out there first chance of the game. Lovely play on the left involving Ricey and Nicky ended up the latter putting in dangerous ball across goal, the ball was met by stan and his goal bound effort was blocked by the keeper and the hunty was on the rebound but the defender cleeared. Cutty were piling on the pressure on the Douglas defence and had a few shots on goal which were easily saved by the Douglas keeper. Douglas's tactic o the punt up the park paid off for them on the half hour mark as they took the lead. The boy Dolan played a 40 yard ballover Richy's head and with both right back and keeper hesitating on who's ball it was in nipped the Douglas striker to make it 1-0. About 5 mins after the taking tyhe lead Douglas just about made it 2-0 but the striker shot wide when clean through. This made the cutty go up a gear  and they shouldav equalised not long after. Stan skinned thewre left back and was clean through on goal, the last defender made up with him but Stan sent over a great cross  for Lee Hunt, with only the keeper to beat he placed his header to near the keeper and he pushed the ball wide of the post. There was  a couple of goal mouth scrambles for the cutty before they finally got what they deserved as they were dominant. Espo layed a lovely weighted ball over the top and stan beat the offside trap to dribble the ball past the keeper and slot the ball into an empty net to make it 1-1. Just on half time the Cutty survived a scare as from a corner the big douglas defender smashed  a header of the underside of the cross bar. Ref Blew his whistle for half time.. 1st time he blew it all the first half the pap. 2nd half began with the Doulglas taking centre! With the wind now blowing to the backs of the cutty babes, cutty picked up a gear and started playing some brazilian magic. Espo and nicky were being instrimental in the middle of the park and Bobby Scott who had a quite 1st half began more involved in the play. Cutty's play was coming from more up the right hand side and were causing havoc in the Douglas's defence. 10 mins into the 2nd half Stan had a great chance to make it 2-1 but being put through from q quick throwing missed timed thge bounce totally and the ball sailed wide. Cutty had a few chances from outside the box but both shots went over the bar. Douglas werent offering any attacking force at all and it was the cutty who were pushing towards the douglas goal. Cutty just about took the lead again but from fine defending the boy blocked two of johna's shots of the line. Cutty then took the lead with a contender for goal of the season. Fine exchanging of passes from Ricey and Espo saw the ball being rolled back to Nicky Duechars 25 yrds out and the boy wasnt certainly putting holes in the doughnuts this team it was a hole being put in the back of the net!.. Keeper didnt have a sniff.. This sent the cutty line wild and the manager was going up and down the line saying told u meh son was no bad player like miself until  meh achillies ended mi playing career( total pap). Cuttys confidence grew from here and were playing well. Off came Bobby Scott who had a great 2nd half and on came Errol. Nicky had another decent strike on goal but just went over the bar! Douglas made a subby with 15 mins to go and i couldnt believe what i was seeing... Oncame Simon Cowell.. referee went over to take his number off the back of his shirt but to no avail couldnt see it as he had his shorts away up to his collarbone, with 5 mins to play the 'Mong' of the ref gave the Douglas a shocking free kick 20 yards from the cutty goal for fuckall, only he knew. The boy laid the ball off to his team mate but after seeing espo running towards  him with his bisceps and lee wee his new beard decided to run like fuck and near ended up in the water, this leading to a great counter attack from the cutty but stan shot wide. ' Mong' blew his whistle for full time and to the delight off the cutty faithful were through to the last 16 of the Scottish cup. FULL TIME.

Must admit thought the Douglas Pathetic would have gave us a harder match but the cutty were in control from start to finish. This setting up a cracker at the home of football against ' Meh Mates' Team next week.. Gantry afc. Who are a good side.
